Our Story
Have you ever found yourself exhausted from chasing the illusion of “balance”? Burned out by work, buried under never ending to-do lists, trying to carry more responsibilities to meet parents' or societal expectations, and wondering when life actually starts feeling like your life? Maybe you’re in a relationship that feels more confusing than comforting. What am I looking for? What do I want out of my life? Who am I, my gender, my sexuality, my strengths, my shortcomings, my aspirations, and my goals?... the list can keep going on and on.
Let's breathe...start with a deep exhalation, then a pause, breathe in.
Maybe you’re questioning whether your parents have fully accepted you, your partner has appreciated you, the career path you chose still fits who you are today. Perhaps you've been a good kid, good student, a good employee, or a good person all along, but there is just something missing to feel good enough or fulfilled! If any of this sounds familiar… we've got you! Welcome. You’re at the right place!
We’ve been there too. We are not born Figured-Everything-Out therapists. We are like you, human. We have encountered situations as you do, struggled and tried, and then we learned and trained in psychology, therapy, and counseling. Eventually, we've healed some of the wounds, continue to heal, and become aware that each one of us has strengths inside, deep down somewhere. We can heal, we believe you can as well. All you need to do is trust our professional skills and knowledge, be honest with yourself, and bring your open mind and heart to this healing journey.
Making the leap to challenge some old beliefs, habits, or connections can be extremely hard! We appreciate you taking the time to search for someone or something to guide you. We want you to know, healing is rewarding and even when it feels hard.
Some of us may have experienced childhood trauma, racism, unfair treatment, cultural shock as immigrants, made a career transition, been in toxic relationships, grown up with emotionally immature parents, or found our voices as Asians and Asian Americans, attached with labels of ADHD, PTSD, or other mental health challenges, and struggled with maintaining meaningful connections with others. The figure-out process can take decades; however, we are not broken, but we are more resilient than ever.
Our years of training and personal healing journey have taught us effective and practical strategies that we now use to help others like you, to move forward with clarity, courage, and confidence! So you don't have to spend decades, making mistakes over and over again, or struggling without a clear direction.
At Creative Hearts Collaborative, we believe therapy isn’t about “fixing” you. It’s about coming home to yourself with compassionate patience and professional guidance. No one grows up with a perfect roadmap. We’ve all been shaped by our families, cultures, and the messages we’ve internalized about success, love, and worth. But here’s the good news: you’re allowed to pause, to reflect, to rewrite your narrative. You are not the sum of your past choices. You are the author of your now and future.
If you’re ready to ask bigger questions and make meaningful changes, we're here to support you with real tools, no-fluff guidance, and deep compassion.
Let's break the patterns that keep you stuck and help you reconnect with your most authentic self.
The only permission you need to begin this journey… is your own.

We can't wait to hear about your story.

Warmly,
Creative Hearts Collaborative
