Hi, I am Jeanie Lo (she/her)!
I am your knowledgeable counselor and therapist for Asians & Immigrants.
I became a therapist because I noticed how deeply people yearn for authentic connection, what I call “true attunement.” Through conversations and my personal observations, I saw that many of us were conditioned to dismiss our emotional needs. Guided by curiosity and compassion, and driven by a desire to help, stepping into therapy felt like a natural next step for me.

As an immigrant, I’m deeply aware of how cultural identity, whether through language, family legacy, or the pressure to “fit in,” can shape our inner lives. My approach is rooted in attuned presence, empathy, and insight. I create a safe, judgment-free space where clients can gently explore their inner world, identify unmet needs, and cultivate self-awareness. Together, we face pain, not by pushing it away, but by holding it with care so it becomes a bridge to healing.
About Me
I am extroverted and very!
My favorite colors are white, baby blue, and lavender! Outside of sessions, I recharge through listening to All Too Well, 10-minute Taylor’s Version, making jewelry, creating art, watching Succession or The Good Wife, and spending time with loved ones. My extroverted spirit thrives on connection, even goofy moments with clients, like the time we laughed so hard our bellies hurt!
I work with young adults, adults, couples, and teens (15+), especially those navigating C-PTSD, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, or relationship challenges. Many of my clients are creatives, immigrants, third-culture individuals, new parents, or driven professionals who sense something deeper is calling them, even if it’s scary or uncomfortable to face.

My role isn’t to give you the “right answer,” but to hold up a mirror, walk alongside you, and help you find clarity. Clients often share how being seen, understood, and less alone brought relief and momentum. I’ve also been honored to offer psychoeducation, resources, and assessments when it’s helpful, always putting the therapeutic relationship first.

My work is shaped by influences like Nancy McWilliams, whose reminder to stay open and curious about each person’s story continues to ground me. And I’m guided by Carl Jung’s insight: “Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.” Therapy, to me, is about unveiling what lies beneath so it no longer controls us.
